Nifty PSU Bank index ended up 3.51% at 5215.05 today. The index has added 13.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Central Bank of India jumped 8.42%, Union Bank of India rose 5.65% and Canara Bank added 5.08%. The Nifty PSU Bank index has increased 64.00% over last one year compared to the 11.60% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index has slid 1.55% and Nifty Realty index has slid 0.66% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has declined 0.34% to close at 19674.25 while the SENSEX has declined 0.33% to close at 66009.15 today.
