Among the components of the S&P BSE Energy index, Oil India Ltd (down 1.5%), Reliance Industries Ltd (down 1.02%),Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals Ltd (down 0.87%),Adani Total Gas Ltd (down 0.76%),Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (down 0.75%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (down 0.21%), and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (down 0.13%).

On the other hand, Deep Industries Ltd (up 4.4%), Confidence Petroleum India Ltd (up 2.04%), and Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Ltd (up 1.46%) moved up.

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 94.55 or 0.16% at 57708.27.

The Nifty 50 index was up 51.3 points or 0.3% at 17003.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 291.58 points or 1.11% at 26450.61.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 79.31 points or 0.95% at 8431.23.

On BSE,2030 shares were trading in green, 1397 were trading in red and 126 were unchanged.
