Among the components of the S&P BSE FMCG Sector index, Marico Ltd (down 2.83%), Kaveri Seed Company Ltd (down 2.68%),Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd (down 2.36%),Chamanlal Setia Exports Ltd (down 2.05%),Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd (down 1.96%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Foods & Inns Ltd (down 1.65%), Britannia Industries Ltd (down 1.6%), Dabur India Ltd (down 1.59%), ITC Ltd (down 1.48%), and Hindustan Unilever Ltd (down 1.43%).

On the other hand, DCM Shriram Industries Ltd (up 7.7%), G M Breweries Ltd (up 4.16%), and Parag Milk Foods Ltd (up 2.99%) turned up.

At 13:44 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 417.74 or 0.63% at 65700.95.

The Nifty 50 index was down 145.7 points or 0.74% at 19570.75.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 9.7 points or 0.03% at 37486.41.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 70.95 points or 0.63% at 11201.43.

On BSE,1680 shares were trading in green, 1892 were trading in red and 159 were unchanged.
