IRB Infra gains as toll collection rises in April

The gross toll collections in April last year was at Rs 196.64 crore. The figures were steeply lower last year due to Covid-related lockdowns in many parts of the country.

Additionally, the toll collection at Kaithal Tollway was suspended in April 2021 on account of farmers agitation.

Kaithal Tollway is a part of National Highways 65, which connects Ambala in Haryana with Pali in Rajasthan.

IRB Infra is an integrated roads and highways infrastructure developer, with major presence in the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) space.

The board of IRB Infra is scheduled to meet on 17 May 2022 to consider audited financial results for the year ended 31 March 2022.

On a consolidated basis, net profit of IRB Infrastructure Developers rose 4.61% to Rs 72.68 crore on 17.33% decline in net sales to Rs 1279.11 crore in Q3 December 2021 over Q3 December 2020.
