Nifty IT index ended up 2.63% at 30178.65 today. The index has added 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd jumped 4.29%, Persistent Systems Ltd added 4.11% and Infosys Ltd gained 2.95%. The Nifty IT index has decreased 14.00% over last one year compared to the 6.14% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index increased 1.48% and Nifty Services Sector index increased 1.31% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 witnessed a rise of 1.19% to close at 18484.1 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 1.24% to close at 62272.68 today.
